So I want to be a marine biologist, and to do that I plan on going to college to study bio and then focusing on marine bio in grad school. I've tried looking at the bio programs at different UCs and CSUs, but it seems like a lot of them focus on the more medical and molecular side of things, which isn't what I want to do.
As of now, I really want to go to UCSD because their ecology, behavior, and evolution major is EXACTLY what I'm looking for, plus they offer a lot of internship programs that will get me more experience. However, I realize that UCSD is extremely difficult to get into, so I really want to have a solid list of back up schools. The problem is, I have no idea where to start, and the threads that I've read from other people who are interested in bio seem to focus on the medical/molecular side which, as I've stated, I'm not interested in.
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!!!! ♥
