So I've looked all over the place to find some information regarding the actual NMScholarship- not Semifinalist, not Finalist, not college scholarships, just the official National Merit Scholar designation- but I can't find anything helpful. I was hoping someone could tell me when we actually find out if we moved from Finalist to Winner.
The site says "May 7," but it ALSO says that "from April to June" notifications will be sent out in four waves of some sort. If I haven't heard anything by now (I live overseas so post mail takes a couple weeks or longer than it would in the States), should I consider myself out of the running? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
