I am a new Oberlin parent; my son was accepted ED for Class of 2018. I have an older son who will be graduating from Yale in the spring. On the Yale CC boards, there is a running thread for Yale Parents, which has been incredibly helpful over the years, providing information and answering questions for parents by other parents. It has been especially useful at times when newbies are trying to navigate situations such as Parents Weekends, registration, rooming situations, etc. I searched for a similar board on the Oberlin discussion forum, but didn't see anything. Is there any interest from Obie parents for a similar board here? I'm excited for the next four years! I loved Oberlin when we visited and DS is thrilled to be going there.
