Would taking Pre-Law be a good idea in college? I was thinking about a Bachelor's in Political Sciences. I plan on double majoring in History and Economics. I would like to go on to a law degree. Would a major in Pre-Law help me? I would be willing to drop History for Pre-Law.
I read "According to data from 78,000 law school applicants in 2011-2012, provided to U.S. News by the Law School Admission Council, students who majored in prelaw were less likely to be admitted to law school than those who chose other majors." (Future Law Students Should Avoid Prelaw Majors, Some Say - US News and World Report) Is this true?
I read many other articles and many of them do not agree. I'm not sure which sources to believe.
Thanks for your help in advance!
