My son installed a handy Cross Loop application. This allowed me to do remote login ( "drive" his laptop from my hope computer.) We only used it now and then, but it really came in handy for tough problems, other than network connection issues.
It appears that Cross Loop went obsolete in January 2014. Suggestions for other tools? It has to be easy peasy to run on my Dad's end.
