I am a 15.5 year old sophomore, 16 at the end of the year. I am very involved in the youth group at church and our youth band, too. The drummer of our band is a 13.5 year old eighth grader. I don't want to like him, but I do, very much. We flirt a lot and I've been been told more than once that he likes me too. My problems are 1) the idea of(right now) the major age difference(I know it won't matter much later, but it does now) and 2) maturity level- most of the time he's pretty mature but every once in a while I have my doubts. I have liked him for about 8 mos. now and we've known each other for 1.5 years. What are your thoughts on me- a female sophomore- dating a male eighth grader?
