Hello, I just recently transferred to UCSD from a CCC as an engineer major. But I was accepted as a Structural engineer while the major I truly want is Mechanical engineering. I have a couple of choices but don't know which would be the best for my situation.
1. I could completely leave UCSD and go to my cc for another year, receive my AS in engineering and then try and transfer.
2. I could go to UCSD and after a year attempt to change majors.
or
3. Attempt to call the other colleges to allow me to take courses at UCSD and only transfer the courses from my CC that contribute to my major requirement.
or if there is any other ideas could you please leave me a comment below.
