Chances at JHU, Duke, Georgetown, UMD, UVA

Intensive Chinese Study Abroad, NSLI-Y Scholarship (full scholarship- merit based): Received a NSLI for Youth Scholarship from the U.S. Department of State for an 6-week intensive Indonesian language program. Advanced from beginner to intermediate-high speaking level; used Chinese daily in the classroom, with Chinese host family, through cultural excursions and courses, and with Chinese peer tutors 2. Waksman Student Scholars Program: (Student Fellow: sponsored by Rutgers & Johns Hopkins Universities) Isolate and sequence genes, perform PCR, miniprep, and DNA analysis- Research results published in NCBI 3. Internship at hospital and nursing home- Spring 2014 4. Lifeguard- 3 years Extracurriculars: NHS, Natl. Math HS (President), Natl. My dream school is Hopkins. I am interested in biology and international studies. I might focus on Global Heath or Bioethics, or something else. I am also interested in UMD (college park), UVA, Georgetown, and might apply to Duke and UPenn, but I'm worried about if I can make it in or not. Any help is appreciated, thank you!!!!!!
