Blank boxes on a college application?

I am a senior in high school and I am just beginning to look at applying to some colleges. I received an email from U of M inviting me to apply. The application has no essay, really only objective information. It's called the "Golden Gopher Application." I have a question on one part of it that, however, isn't objective. At the bottom of the education section, there is a box that says the following: "If you have any circumstances or additional information that you would like us to consider, please include an explanation below. (Maximum 4,000 characters.)" And in the the activities section: "Please list any other special talents, honors, achievements, awards, or activities that don't fit above. (Maximum 4,000 characters.)" What should be going into these boxes? Should I put anything into them? I know I could spit a few things into the activities box that didn't fit into the applications format, or I could paste in my resume. Let me know how I should use these boxes, if at all. Thanks.
