Hi all x
I'm currently deferring my admission at both schools for a semester to do some volunteer work etc and also to FINALLY decide which school to choose. I still don't know, and I'm struggling so much/ can't decide which one is better. I'm going to study Biological Sciences at both. They are both my dream universities, and I've visited both...and of course, both are so stunning.
Which would you guys choose? How does the social life at Stanford compare to the social life at Oxford?
I really like the learning environment at Oxford...and I love how Stanford is very laid-back, but I can also be an uptight person...so I think that might make me fit into Oxford more (plus Oxford can be laid back too). How laid back is Stanford? Because I really cannot stand to be in a party school, and thats what I'm worrying about most. I know there's stuff like Full Moon on The Quad at Stanford..and just wondering if that's a very popular event? Because I haven't heard about it until now! Do a lot of Stanford students party very "trashily" compared to a prestigious school such as Oxford, Harvard etc? I feel like since both are wonderful schools, my decision will be mainly based off of the social scenes at the two universities.
Thoughts? Pros and cons of both schools?
