I'm a sophomore at a decent state university looking to transfer to a top-tier school such as Berkeley or an Ivy. I am pre-med with ambitions to do research as an M.D./Ph.D. GPA is ~3.8 (SAT 2100+). I slacked off in high school but now I picked up the pace.
My question is this: what of all things should I prioritize in order to get into such a selective school? I am working on research (my primary focus right now), classes, extracurriculars, sports, trying to make connections, and trying to establish a start-up business. Thing is, all of these things take up a lot of time. I am really committed to transferring, but I need some help deciding on what I should focus on at this point in the game.
Thanks in advance!
