I heard a report on NPR the other day about a family that buys a lot of their everyday stuff on line. I thought of that report last night as I was trying to figure out when in the next very-busy few days I was going to find time to stop by Wal-Mart and buy soap (we use a kind of facial soap that is most reliably found at Wal-Mart; otherwise I usually don't shop there).
I checked on Amazon and for almost exactly the same price I can have the soap delivered to my front door by Wednesday.
Is this the way of shopping of the furture?
