Is it better to view a college's admission decision through the portal or wait to see the mail?

I'm waiting to hear an answer back from my first choice school, LMU. I'm not entirely sure when they are supposed to be mailing out decisions, but the anticipation is slowly killing me!!! Should I wait for the mail?
