Since I am a freshman in algebra I, I was turned down for accelerated chemistry next year. Apparently geometry is a prerequisite for the accelerated class. I got permission from the academic dean to take AP Bio/APES next year and wait to take accelerated chemistry my junior year since I test very well in math and am in the top 5% of the class. He said I just need to get an approval from the AP Bio/APES teacher. I know there is very basic chemistry in AP Bio, and I'm not very sure about APES. Do you think the teachers would approve me for their classes, or would I need chemistry? Also, which class is easier? I am taking algebra II and geometry next year, so I don't want to be overwhelmed.
