So my university has this event where different companies come to are campus to give the students an opportunity to apply as an intern to their company. However most of them require you to have a 3.0+GPA. Sadly i don't have a high GPA because I entered college in fall 2010 and was a Biology major for a year and a half. Until I decided to switch because i just couldn't handle the work load and other reasons. So after the end spring 2013 i was undecided, until i switched over to accounting and i could only take financial accounting in fall 2013, which i passed with a B+. Now lets say if i applied to an internship and whoever i might apply to looks at my GPA, will they be looking at my overall GPA or would they calculate my accounting courses GPA?
I'm not apply to internships until maybe next semester since I completed 1 accounting course and about to finish 2 more, but i'm just curious.
